Thuong Dinh is the latest brand of trainers to hit the market. However, they weren't just created yesterday, as their history is firmly anchored in that of Vietnam since 1957.

Originally, the brand was the official army supplier. Situated just outside of Hanoi, they were even bombarded by the American B-52's during the war. The factory workers came together to participate in their city's defence, creating trenches and designing an anti-aerial shield in the heart of the factory. In 1961, the brand designed their first trainers, which at the time were designed for badminton and Plumfoot, a local sport played with a shuttlecock and often host to acrobatic movements. 

Today, it's fashion fans who can't get enough of Thuong Dinh shoes!
