Fashion Against AIDS

When it comes to fighting for a good cause, H&M goes all out. After their many collaborations with famous high-fashion designers and stars of the international music scene, the ready-to-wear brand has launched a mini-collection with 25% of the profits going to finance projects that teach young adults about the risks of HIV.

Within the program "Designers Against Aids", H&M has designed a line of bohemian clothing that goes perfectly with the summer's festival trend. For inspiration, you'll find rock and roll, the 70s, ethnicity, and glamour. Trends which are regularly in the spotlight thanks to it-girls such as Alexa Chung and Pixie Geldof, and which are appearing more and more often on the runways and in design houses.

By focusing on the younger generation, the brand hopes to bring together as many people as possible in the fight against AIDS, while simultaneously collecting enough money to participate in the creation of an ever larger educative project. The result is fresh, light, and full of character, with raw and fluid materials in tangy colours with psychedelic accents to reinforce their audacious cuts and designs.
And to take the trend even further, H&M has designed sleeping bags, tents, and camping chairs to complete your festival kit!
