We thought these shoes would never be back in style. We thought they were one of the least trendy styles out there, only to be worn if you are on holiday in the south of France. And yet, to our surprise, they can be found all over the city, even becoming a source of inspiration for designers and stylists.

"They" are espadrilles. Once a "has been" model, they've taken advantage of summer 2011 to become a fashion icon this season. Well, one thing is for sure, wedges are a MUST for summer. But, it's hard to decide between wooden soles and raffia wedges.... A seaside look for one, and '60s inspired look for the other ...  it's a tough choice to make. Maybe I'll just get both!
